They did some testing with it, but I don't think it is fully qualified.

They're the only planes that can carry the biggest bunker buster massive ordinance penetrator.

I have no idea. But maybe the gravitational location would appear to asymptotically approach the event horizon similar to how light from an object would appear to just approach the horizon and then stay there.

Are you thinking of a particular source? I couldn't find substantiation for $45/h.

You've got it backwards, median takes into account income gap better. Mean would be much higher today because of the increasing income gap. That is why I used the median, so that interesting inequality would be less of a factor.

In 2023 median hourly wage was $19.24/h, vs in 1979 it was $4.44/h or $19.56/h inflation adjusted. (This data doesn't go back to 1965 unfortunately)

If you insist. Would you be so kind as to stop commenting on my comment then as well?

Why do you do this?

Federal minimum wage in 1965 was $1.25/h, which is $12.69/h today. Looks like Alaska had the highest state minimum at $2.10, $21.32 today. Or were you taking more average rather than minimum wage?

For the 100th anniversary in 1954, Sylvania set this picture up with thousands of flash bulbs.

Apparently the fireworks were added in post.

Ian Davis has been working since he lost his fingers to design and build a mechanical hand. He's now looking for other amputees to help him test the design. It's a really cool project, I love following his progress!

Tin in solder or some other meals can form spiky crystals when under stress. These whiskers can form short circuits if not properly insulated or not alloyed with other metals.

These mini castles were built all over the city.

The reasons for the construction of so many towers are not clear. One hypothesis is that the richest families used them for offensive/defensive purposes during the period of the Investiture Controversy.

Only a few survive to the current day.

Jean-Pierre Luminet calculated all of that back in 1979 using the IBM 7040 mainframe, an early transistor computer with punch card inputs. The machine generated isolines for his image that were "directly translatable as smooth curves using the drawing software available at the time," he told Engadget in an email.

To create the final image though, he relied on his other passion: art. Using numerical data from the computer, he drew directly on negative image paper with black India ink, placing dots more densely where the simulation showed more light. "Next, I took the negative of my negative to get the positive, the black points becoming white and the white background becoming black."

I'm on 0.0.33, but I've heard that 0.0.34 is out. How do I update? Will it update automatically eventually? I don't see an option in the play store. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall? Thanks!

I'm sorry if this is obvious, but I didn't see any answers on Google or this sub.

Looks like currently there's only options to sort by Top of the past day, week, month, and year. Reddit also had a hour option that I think would be useful for browsing the home page. Maybe even top of the past 10min would be helpful? I'm thinking it'd be helpful for sorting all or subscribed where there's a ton of posts now

Is there a way I can make sure my pictures post right side up? Even when it's correct in the preview window, it flips to one specific orientation once I post (sometimes upsidedown or on its side)
