Give yourself some grace

I am now blessed and holy. Now what?

That was Palatine's last force trick.

Reverse inverse square law of sound. That's why the death star exploded

Last release from 2021.

I saw some recent commits so there's still hope bit I'll wait.

Class members, estimated in the tens of millions, may receive up to $20 per Siri-enabled device, such as iPhones and Apple Watches.

The $95m is about nine hours of profit for Apple, whose net income was $93.74bn in its latest fiscal year.

That, of course, will cover the violation of privacy and all the private discussions sent to third party advertisers. Also the amount is negligible against their annual profits.

Remember, a settlement does not involve an admission of wrongdoing nor a judicial finding of liability. Therefore no action (most probably) will be done on Apple's side.

And one big issue is convenience.

People will not go to a more humane place if it's not convenient enough. For example, choosing a Fediverse instance is a no-no for even my tech savvy friends. Too much choice, too many steps.

Most people, at least around me, want to click and consume. So they stay on predatory yet easy to use platforms.

I still try to bring awareness nonetheless.

Soo, flying bombs?

I like the concept and technology but the risk is too great.

I'm intrigued by Kagi and maybe I'll try it. I like the business model of subscription instead of being the product. I don't mind paying for my privacy. It's not FOSS though, so we may never know if they're not reselling our data.
