I have had ONE non online competetive game not immediately and easily boot up on my steam deck
Kedly
Oblivion had a LOT of post release paid content, most of which was decent value per $ spent, including a full on expansion. So while horse armour was a warning sign for things to come, Oblivion ALSO showcased the good side of paid post release content
Except Bethesda is also one of the few companies that releases full on expansions to their games. Horse armour was the worst (and thus cheapest) of Oblivions addons, but Shivering Isles was an entire new full area and plotline.
Nuance exists. And ignoring it allows a lot of good to get caught in the crossfire
Even the publicly acknowledged start of Micro Transactions "Horse Armour" was couched in decent medium sized DLC and The Shivering Isles
Thats fair tbh, while not all pirates are selfish dicks, none of us can claim to be saints, so your reasoning is fair enough to me
I mean, yeah sure, if you wanna be the dickhead kind of pirate I guess.
Lmao, I could't give less of a shit what you think about my own feelings of creative expression. Have a nice day!
I know this is the pirate sub, but it seems kinda rough to be undermining GOG since their one of the few that releases DRM free shit. Dont we have torrents? Why do we specifically need to fuck with GOG?
I mean, the key part of that sentence was Dunkey. Its kind of funny too because I now feel similar about Dunkey as I do Smith. They did that one persona REALLY WELL, but its just one persona, and eventually it gets old
I'd be perfectly fine being called an AI Handler over an artist, its an apt descriptor and I'm not doing this to trick anybody. One of the top posts on all today is about true luxuries, and one of them is the Luxury of being able to fully express ones self, to which this new tool has provided to me faaar more than any tool previous. If I'm sharing my creations its because I'm excited to have a visual representation and I want to share it with those interested, I'm not trying to downplay the skillset of other artists, nor do I care about cred. I'm just excited to finally have an outlet for my creativity that doesnt require me to devote years of my life to learning specific skills before I'm able to start doing what I actually want to do, which is to be creative
I can’t wait for an AI that responds to my prompts with “and my axe”
Sounds to me they were admitting to being human and thought about it, but dont really want to give in to a harmful base impulse like that...
Edit: Removed some redundancy
