Oh, yeah, in City environments theres no excuse not to be walkable and transitable

edit: I see I missed the word city in the paragraph that Lisa was ranting about. I thought this was a rant targetted towards ALL environments and not City Specific

Its fucking ALL of non metro Canada dude, not just the North, and thanks for implying that we dont matter/dont exist. Transit infrastructure is NOT cost effective outside the Cities here, and we arent a country shy on taxes

Try living in rural areas anywhere in North America, there isnt the tax money to have proper transit in these locations, theres enough for handy dart systems for those physically unable to drive, but not enough for the entire populous, Cars are the only economic solution in most North American rural centers

Sounds like an outlook that works well for you, but not everyone has that same outlook

Edit: LMAO someone didnt like this comment enough that they went through my entire comment history and downvoted everything that they could see

Tbf with gaming, the indie scene is BOOMING, stay away from AAA games and you still get amazing new experiences every year

I'm currently at a job that just leaves me alone to do my job and gives me opportunities to learn new skills as they present themselves, none of these extra roles have came with a pay raise, but I havent had an OK paying job in YEARS where I actually look forward to showing up to work the next day (which I do feel about this one). There are different things a job can provide once the bills have been paid, and I'm sure SOME of your fellow co-workers/employees notice you giving a shit about them

Look man, I get that piracy isnt an ethically clean solution, but the current state of legal digital media is nowhere near ethically clean either, and I'm far more likely to root for a person than I am for a corporation. Especially since its because of corporations that the digital ownership sphere is so fucked

For me there's still value in the niche communities like r/rimworld and the like, but for everything else I'm firmly on Lemmy now

Yeah, thats kind of my point. Plugging your phone in every night when you go to bed is a pretty natural and low thought way of charging any electronic device

Its more I'm lazy. I'm on a ROG Phone 3, and as a gaming phone it probably has that feature. I'm moreso just arguing that if this is still an issue batteries face, tech should address it and fin solutions for how to get around the most common form of charging which is plugging it in and doing something else, which inherently means you ARENT watching what charge its at and have little control over when it stops charging
