My wife has an iPad and one of the things I hate the most is that you can't install adblock extensions into Firefox on it like you can on Android. Which is a thing that has made using the browser on the phone wayyyy more enjoyable.
If only there were some kind of wear resistant coating we could put on bare metal, to protect cars, since they spend thousands of hours in moderately harsh environments over the years.
You could even make them colored, specifically resistant to the things they're likely to encounter on the road, and sun damage. Or maybe it could come in clear, if you want to show off the metal? You could probably even put many layers on it so it lasts a long time if one gets damaged!
Too bad we haven't invented something like that.

My cyberpunk solution is that once you cross the billion dollar net worth threshold, it becomes legal for a team of any size or an individual to register with the billionaire hunting office.
If a registered person or group is successful in killing the billionaire, all of their assets (including any managed by a trust on their behalf) are seized, liquidated, and distributed to the group.
Anyone paid to protect them, anyone affiliated with an organization paid to protect them, or anyone (regardless of affiliation or payment status) within a certain physical proximity to the billionaire is fair game.
Give it time, forced advertising is inevitable.
As far as the legal and historical precedent goes - we fought a war over it.
