Same way he got elected.

They control the media.

If he lost we'd be drowning in election fraud articles, lawsuits, investigations and "evidence".

I second tinkercad for super basic parts. Need to print a knob for a radio that isn't on thing-verse? 20min in tinkercad.

For blender basic things to learn could be plugging a hole in a part and adding a smaller or bigger one to match the screws you have on hand.

Or cutting a part in half to extend it, fill in the gap.

I'm hoping those salt batteries pan out.

Wired is king.

If I gotta do wireless I get one with a RF dongle/base.

Astro A50 Wireless. Needs a dongle but it's waaaay more stable than any bluetooth headset. Both on range and audio quality.

Preach. Get a food scale!

I counted calories for a bit to eat healthier and balance my nutrition.

I stopped after 3 months but I quickly realized that serving sizes ae WAY smaller than you'd think.

A bowl of cereal or chips could be 2 or 3 servings. Donuts and muffins are garbage. Ham and cheese? Triple the ham and cut the cheese in half. Mayo is horrible but plain mustard is 0 cal.

I didn't eat any less but I made my meals healthier and lost weight without changing my workout.

I also ate bad stuff without cheating. Chicken salad for dinner and a scoop of ice cream for a late night snack under budget.

What we need is a president to pull a bait and switch. Gotta play the long game though.

Kamala got so many donations she literally can't spend it all before election day. Next best thing? Get more democrats elected at the state level so we can get good bills actually passed.

Maybe then we can start fixing shit.

Fucking propaganda machines.

Maybe it's also the fact that you're older and more mature?

What if you had a stream of income in your youth from family supporting you?

Generational wealth.

I definitely would've been more spontaneous instead of work two jobs while going to college in my early 20s.

This one is harder to stop since lots of scams are hosted over VoIP from overseas.

I married a gamer. Co-op games are 90% of my gaming and it's mostly fantastic.

Depending on where you're based, you'll find PayPal's new data-sharing option under a different name. Remember, you may not see this at all if you're based in a country that doesn't allow it.

If you're in the US, you should head to your profile Settings and tap on Data & privacy. Under Manage shared info, click on Personalized shopping. You should see the option enabled by default. Toggle off the button at the right to opt-out.

If you are in the UK like me, you'll see something different after you head to your profile Settings and tap on Data & privacy.

Under Manage your privacy settings, here you'll see an Interest-based marketing tab – click on it. At this point, two options will appear: Interest-based marketing on PayPal and Internet-based marketing on your accounts. You have to tap on each of these and toggle off the button at the right to opt-out. These instructions can also apply if you're based in the EU.

Apologies if this is the wrong instance for this.

Is there a best option for HTPC streaming solutions besides throwing Linux on an old desktop? Plugging in a desktop for streaming doesn't work too well for wall mounted televisions. My options are mini PCs or a 3rd party streaming stick. Even a RasPi stick running OSMC should do the trick.

These 3rd party sticks online are extremely tempting for power and features but I'm concerned about embedded malware. Best option would be to wipe it and load OSMCor raspbian to ensure its clean. Anyone have experience with this?

Care to share your setup?

$14.41 | DQ06 ATV Mini TV Stick Android12 Allwinner H618 Quad Core Cortex A53 Support 8K Video 4K Wifi6 BT Voice Remote Smart TV Box | Link

Runner up: $12.90 | Orange Pi Zero 2 W 1GB RAM DDR4 Mini PC Allwinner H618 Orange Pi Zero 2W WiFi Bluetooth SBC Single Board Computer Zero2W | Link

Update: My ideal solution would be $20-$50 for a replacement to several fire sticks in my home. For a solution around $100 I'd just go with a old refurbished mini pc from ebay/amazon and throw full Linux on it.

Setting up Kodi via the linux OSMC distro or even Android TV both work. Might stream games with steam link. Eventually going to setup jellyfin in my home

Current Plan: Get a mini pc and mount it behind / near my television. Ideally I would prefer just a stick for a cleaner / cheaper solution.

Update2:

Finally researched about the Orange Pi (rasp alternative) and the darn thing comes with full hdmi! Orange Pi 3B Full HDMI and SD / eMMC / M2 (sata3) slots!

So I'm a long time fan and playing my first campaign. First big quest and we're in a fortress.

Pretty spent after an encounter and some traps. We see a sleeping BBEG in the way of our finish.

Cast pass without a trace to sneak past. Fighter in heavy rolls a nat 1 on his disadvantage.

So it's 1 + 1 dex +10 pass without a trace = 12

BBEG passive perception is 10. We sneak past.

WTH? I mean sure my PC is happy but I feel somehow disappointed in our DM giving us a pass.

I've DMd before and would've definitely woken up the boss.

I feel like DM gave us the pass cause it could've been a TPK.

Thoughts?

Edit:

Thank you everyone for your thoughts.

I was caught up in the homebrew rule of auto fail nat1s that is NOT in the PHB.

Rules as written we earned that easy win by taking advantage of the bosses low perception and spending a spell slot on pass without a trace.
