Really 50/50. I love the collection and making them work, he loves playing the games. My wife is looking forward to DDR

They’re interesting. The arrows are close to the thumbstick so they’re easy to access but not incredibly ergonomic. The c buttons are a bit weirdly spaced. I’ll see as I play more with them.

On of the controllers had a missing thing stick and I 3D printed a new one.

Oh damn… just don’t do anything with it. Be nice to a fellow retro gamer.

So I set this text to change the bottom layer to concentric only for the text and I got this. I had this large flat area in my print and decided to spice it up a bit for fun without doing multicolor which would be 1, too annoying to do manually and 2, too visible for this part that needs to be all black. So here I have a nice DON’T PANIC on the back of it.

Wow. Ok I did not know that.

What’s the connection with the original post?

I’m okay with image processing in the screen, by smart, I mean with a media platform and apps installed on the screen. I have two Roku TV that are now unusable even as a screen because the recent Roku software updates made the whole tv sluggish as hell even to simply turn on to an input like HDMI. It’s baaaaaad. Image processing on the other hand no biggie (as long as it’s not this motion flow shit)

If connected via HDMI, no. But your TV might be able to act as a remote control for your Chromecast. No internet data via HDMI.

I miss dumb TV. I would pay more for a dumb OLED TV. Then add the media box of your choice, be it an Apple TV, a Raspberry Pi or whatever…

This could be raised as discrimination. Not only regarding income, but could also be against disabilities. People with ADHD (hello it’s me!) are really bad at organizing, especially desks and work areas (I work in layers of papers like sedimentation). I would definitely take notes on this incident and if it continues or if he job gets changed following.

There would be room for expansion. What about an IRC then?

I just discovered that it was in Arctic and I love it. This app is my go to one for Lemmy browsing!

Homing your printer systematically before a print is redundant, a waste of time and sometimes even an issue (if your homing probe is misbehaving and you’ve already dialed an offset by need to restart the print for a clean first layer for instance) I recently came upon this G28 macro that only homes of the printed is not already homed.

[gcode_macro G28]
# Only home if needed.
rename_existing: G28.1
gcode:
    {% if PA %}
        G28.1 {PA}
    {% else %}
        {% if printer.toolhead.homed_axes != "xyz" %}
            G28.1
        {% endif %}
    {% endif %}

All you have to do is add this to your macro.cfg file and it will override any G28 command from any gcode and only execute a home if needed. If you want to execute a home even if not needed, you can send the command G28.1 or give it a parameter, like G28 X, or G28 XYZ and it will force the homing

I want to make an online store but don’t want to pay $$$$ for Shopify. I looked into woocommerce and it looks exactly like what I want but hosting companies seem to charge extra for woocommerce options. I have deployed my own Wordpress in the past and know enough about front and back end to work things out on my own. Can I just get one of the standard Wordpress option and install woocommerce on it or does it need something extra in the backend that justifies the extra cost?

Also who do you recommend that is cheap and still fairly reliable. It’s a small shop for handmade customized items.

My son still needs to figure out how to drive straight lol but he’s rocking it at Paper Mario TTYD.

I’m looking to setup a media server with Jellyfin+*arr for my home. My LG tv has Jellyfin app already. Is there a tutorial, or script to install all the necessary tools on my SBC?

Looking for a way to get audiobooks to listen to. Preferably in a format compatible with Apple Books app.
