The first games that popped into my head were Forager and Outpath, though these arent so much community building type games. They are more just something cute to relax to. They have farming and resource collecting and honestly play more like an active idler game than anything. Another game ive sunk tons of time into that kinda meets your requirements is Banished. Its just a medieval city builder game but it is deceptively hard to get a good balanced town going which can be pretty rewarding in itself. Theres no money per se but you do have to manage resources. Theres bartering in the game but you use your resources like crops and stone and stuff.

It's a reference to an old Reddit post where somebody had the same situation I did where they met someone yand fell in love and had long and happy life until they started noticing a lamp in their living room that sidn't look right. Drove them crazy in this dream and eventually forced them to wake up. I'm on mobile and can't find original post ATM but that's the jist.

I met, fell in love, got married, bought a house, started a family and grew old together with a woman i met in my dreams. In one night, i lived a lifetime. It was so super realistic that I woke up devastated that it was a dream. It took me weeks to stop thinking about it constantly throughout the day, and even to this day I still think about it occasionally going on 15 years later.

Sounds like the perfect time to practice your bass! Even just following along with Youtube vids can get you a long ways. Hope you get back on your feet (heh) soon!

Maybe that was more of a mission statement than a prediction.

I finally picked up Witcher 3 for like 4 bucks. Excited to start playing that. I also got Euro Truck Simulator because it was like 1.99 and seems like a chill space out game.

Your probably right, but short of going through and editing everything with nonsense (which could just be rolled back anyways) this at least provides me with some copium.

When I saw this news yesterday, it made me realize I hadn't used Reddit almost at all since the purge last summer. I ran the PowerDelete tool last night to nuke my profile and then deleted my account this morning. 10 years of posts and comments gone but ill be damned if im going to let those posts stay and train AI to make this douche canoe any more money.

If your boss has no idea what your doing all year, it sounds like you can do whatever you want. Watch movies, play games, apply for other work...anything goes.

Oh yeah totally free, just go ahead and put in all your info... Oh, looks like your at the last step and have spent a bunch of your time filling everything out. Oh darn! Look at that, you need to do something very basic that 99% of people need to do? Yeah that will be 75 bucks please.

TurboTax is nothing more than a "Legal" scam that pulls a bait and switch to steal money from people.

Mod removed my first post because "AI 'art' is for Borgs". So here is a real life version!

When I'm scrolling through my main subscribed feeds or all, Id like to be able to hide posts Ive read/voted on so I don't see the same posts for days at a time, but still be able to visit an instance directly and see all posts made there. In smaller communities, hiding read posts can turn that instance into a ghost town. Its also nice to go back and read new comments on posts your interested in and hiding read posts makes that difficult. Right now it seems like its hide everything everywhere or not and no in between.

Edit- after creating this post I went to view my profile and didn't see it there. Turns out hiding read posts, also hides your own posts? Am I missing something here?
