You are a disgrace!!! How do you sleep with yourself?

DISGUSTING!

But that’s a really great point. It’s easy to thinking of your threat model as all or nothing. And you are right. I’m not hiding from the law. I’m hiding from advertisers. If the government acquires my information then it was a mistake on their part as there is nothing there to find other than emails from my bank.

I still use a 75hz desktop and 60hz on my Laptop. I can’t tell the difference.

Even looking at the iPhone 15 pro next to a 15 looks the same to me.

My problem with fair phone is that they use old hardware.

I never replaced any parts on my old phone and only replaced the phone with a new one because it was getting really slow. I replaced the xr with an iPhone 15.

So my concern with the fair phone is that I’ll replace it with faster hardware more frequently than I would have replaced a no repairable phone that’s faster.

I think it’s close enough and I’m happy to see it.

It seems to be a hit randomly and depends on the game, but I only play around the house, so it’s never been a big deal. I also try not to suspend unless I’ve saved already just in case, but I’m willing to take the risk.

Part of it might be that the fun of it for them is creating it. Additionally it might just be a fun way to learn a certain technology.

A small part of me is interested in making an nes game, and the first step for me to learn that code would be to work on a fan project and improve existing code.

This policy is so frustrating for me.

I’m from the US but live in another country.

There are so many apps that are only available in one country or another so I effectively have two phones just so I can access all my banking apps and some streaming stuff.

Someone found some code that referenced geo-blocking features. So if you are physically in Europe, then it should work and when you are outside of Europe then it wouldn’t.

I’m not sure if they plan to use the os with way, but maybe they will.

Maybe turning on a vpn will do the trick.

I’m guessing that they will lock it to Europe for some time, but in the next iOS update roll it out world wide as they see the writing on the wall.

But Apple always seems to find a way to disappoint.

The suspend feature is wildly important for me.

If I had to boot a game and shut it down each time, I’d only pickup the device when I had set aside time to game.

Since I can suspend and resume whenever, I pickup my steam deck all the time. I can play in the car and just suspend when we arrive or I can play for a few minutes while waiting for a meeting to start.

I can play while my wife gets ready.

Sometimes meets get canceled or there is traffic, so gaming sessions can really stretch out into a longer play time.

If I couldn’t suspend, I wouldn’t have played in those moments.

I found myself having trouble finishing 4. It just took such a turn once you get to the castle.

It really became a shooter game more than anything else.

The bosses were too easy because handgun ammo was so abundant so I could just save my shotgun and magnum for the boss fights.

I don’t have experience with them, so I’m not too sure how they work or how reliably they work.

They could also see your MAC address and lookup which vendor that MAC address matches to.

They could then use the cameras there to see who has a laptop that matches and possibly identify you that way.

I’d say if you are going to do it use a vpn no matter what.

They may still lock you out or block torrent traffic, or possibly block your vpn from working. So make sure the vpn kill switch is on in case it suddenly stops working.
