Syril’s arc is an interesting one. He always genuinely believed that the Empire was necessary and even good, bringing order and a kind of draconian but honest justice to the galaxy. To be confronted with that being made a lie, and him as the link, must have been quite the mind-fuck.
Happens throughout history, and by the time these kind of characters find out it may be too late
I wasn't too fond of this arc...it was more like, I don't really care?
Plus her joining the Empire to help set the galaxy on fire....while those who ruined her life are a part of the whole shabang? Doesn't make sense.
I kinda wished they did Thrawn's origin or the Grand Inquisitor as a temple guard.
I think we'll be seeing Barriss in the future, stab wounds are nothing in Star Wars. She also didn't become one with the Force.
