Keep in mind - this is just the premium. Getting actual care requires thousands of dollars more.

Like this could easily destroy the entire Health Care industry, not just the insurance companies by creating a death spiral
It's not that the industry is dead - it's just that health insurance companies are insanely parasitic and are about to kill the host. The death-spiral already started and there simply isn't enough money to rebuild or 'reform' a privatized healthcare system where insurance companies sit at all the choke points.
Am I the only one that sees a major flaw, and a lot of historical precedent, around the idea of not paying the mercenaries on time?
Y'all need to start fighting against them sooner-than-later.
Owners of these trucks have an over-abundance of entitlement. They go into absolute temper-tantrums at attempts to get these monsters off the road. Nip them in the bud while there aren't to many of them- they are the urban-planning version of an invasive weed.
I can imagine no way this could go horribly wrong. No downside whatsoever.
... and, in keeping with the Democratic party winning strategy: She's marketing the book to international conservatives who will never vote for her.
The Democratic party is a Ponzi jobs-program for the children of wealthy families who imagine themselves as political consultants. They are focused on raising money from corporations and comfortable college-educated liberals.
People who have been profiting off the for-profit healthcare system have really fucked themselves.
The purpose of Medicade is to externalize those who healthcare providers and insurance companies cannot squeeze a profit from: The poor, children without parents who have resources to spare, and the under-paid. Without Medicade the financial burden of all these people is going to come crashing down on the rest of the system - making it even worse than inoperable ... unprofitable.
Harris lost because her campaign sucked - not due to her ovaries. Harris was more interested in suburban Republican voters than Democrats in her own base. She did little to differentiate herself from the unpopular & sclerotic Biden administration; and her surrogates effectively told people who wanted universal healthcare and Palestinian liberation to go fuck off.
To be fair: The Democratic Party isn't a viable political engine for positive social change or a working-class agenda. If Cuomo wins it will be yet another example of how untrustworthy, hypocritical, and vapid Blue No Matter Who voting habits are.
