Dort's contract is amazing, but before Chet and Jdub get paid and the Lativian Laser is off the books, who would you target on that window?

And well, Giddey, who knows what they have planned for him and as much as Zai is nice, what are his chances here long term if the plan is the core 5 if he looks to get paid and they dont want to go over the apron?

I dont know if the names being floated around as realistically available soonish (or were over the last year before this season) are the answer here, but if you had to choose one of OG, Mitchel, Siakam, Turner, Lauri and Lavine, who would you guys go for here?

You dont think either will be top 15?

At a guess they will be in some order (accounting for PG/SG difference semantics):

Luka, SGA, Fox, Trae, Hali, Jamal, Book, Maxey, Ja, Mitchel, Lamelo, Brunson, Garland, Scoot, and Cade.

Of course some players will show up and take one of those spots,

I remember the discussion being how many truly elite PG we had in the league at the same time due to how guard heavy the league had become, but are we about to see the best top 15 PGs in league history with the upcoming crop or would that be a stretch?

Curious to hear you guys' toughts. Who are you higher/lower on?

Jokic, Steph, Luka are playing out of their minds.

But then Giannis, Embiid, Tatum and Booker also could get it.

Assuming all of these play enough to be eligible, who do you guys see winning it? I think it will be between the first 3 depending on seed.

Iggy was one who was raving about how amazing an off season he had. Freak athlete who seems to work hard at this point and is already a very good defender, will get a minutes increase this season plus the CP3 boost, how big of a leap do we think he takes this year? Anyone guess the numbers you think he ends up at the end of the season assuming he stays healthy?

Splash Joker!

Imagine if his playoff % is the new norm lol.

Once MJ became the best player in the league in the 80's there wasn't a year after that he wasn't the best player in the league except the Wizards days after coming back from the second retirement.

Lebron during his reign has shared the best player status with multiple players, off the top of my head, players who have inarguably been better than Lebron during his time at some point have been: Kobe, Steph, KD, Giannis and Jokic. Players some people would argue were better than Lebron at some point have been Kawhi, Wade, Dirk and Harden.

Whichever way we land on (let's assume only the inarguable players who were better than Lebron count), MJ dominated basketball in his time beyond anything Lebron could dream of doing in his.

I think people who say Lebron is the GOAT have to overemphasize how doing what Lebron's done in his era is harder than what MJ did in his (along with the longevity argument).

I think there is a good chance MJ is surpassed as the GOAT at some point, but Lebron isn't it.

Thoughts?
