And I thought my 2x 7352s were badass... nice! Maybe when the 2nd hand prices drop I'll offload my 2 and grab 2 of those!

Nice feature is the sata-dom. I have 2 128gb drives on those. I also love the IPMI management.

Why not proxmox?

I'd be willing to go used on everything except the drives

Hello labbers! I recently purchased a WS-C3850-12X48U-S switch and performed a factory reset from the cli... not knowing it would remove the firmware. From what I read on the cli, it said it would reset all settings...

Now it's missing the config file and it wont boot beyond the screen saying flash:packages.conf is missing. I verfied by dir flash:/ and no .conf files are visible.

Does anyone know where I can find the file to emergency flash this swithc or am I screwed? I cant find anything on Cisco's website.

Thanks for any help

Cisco WS-C3850-12X48U-S and the C3850-NM-4-10G card

Super stoked to set this thing up. Also puchased a second psu for it for 21 bucks on ebay

12 ports are 10gb ethernet and the rest are 1gb. All are UPOE

I recently purchased a cisco 48 port poe switch and a 4 port 10gb fiber network card for it, separate ebay purchases, and neither had anti static bags. They were both wrapped in bubble wrap but the switch came within Styrofoam packing peanuts. The styrofoam packing peanuts always have a great deal of static buildup.

What are your thoughts on this? Am I just being paranoid about potential static discharge with items being wrapped in bubble wrap only and no anti static bag?

I look forward to everyone else's thoughts. Hoping I'm just being paranoid and that it's perfectly fine.

Note: the items booted up fine.

Thanks

Multiple nest thermostats can do this, it just requires further setup but you would need to buy the pro models. Or, what Ive heard, zigbee thermostats do this, too.

The nest is slow on some days and fast on others. Several times having deliveries that need to be signed for and can't get the driver before he's walking to his truck
