It's not a beater though. No water resistance, a painted bezel and the crystal scratches from the puffs of air.
However, I like it. I have a Pluto and I bought it as a fun watch to drink beer with friends and it has this relaxed vibe.

Many regrets in the comments could have been avoided if people had tried the watches on before buying.

The clasp and side of the bracelet that touches the desk are pretty scratched though
It is a well known Swiss brand and will be a great gift IF it suits your husband.
Just keep in mind that the pictures don't tell the truth and all the watches look very different in real life. Especially this flat website picture, it doesn't show realistic depth, glares and so on.
So if you haven't seen it in person, you should really go to the store and try it on.
If it suits you and you like it.
Also, if it doesn't fall apart and is not a ripoff.

Bought the Citizen 15 years ago, it's more on a dressy side, but I like it. Omega is my daily watch. Casio and Timex are for sports, and Luminox and MoonSwatch are fun watches when you're out with friends in a bar. Seiko is a recent addition, really love its dial color.
