He's getting $300 million from the NBA, and not only will he not do the bare minimum to promote the league's newest endeavour, he goes out of his way to shit on it.
And for what reason? If it wasn't an in-season tournament game, it would be just another regular season game in November - and while that's an opportunity for him to go out there and make hundreds of thousands of dollars, well, it's nothing for him to get excited about.
Horrible representative for the NBA. It's one thing for Bones Hyland to say he doesn't know what's going on (completely ridiculous, but at least he's a young guy coming off the bench), but for a guy with a $300 million contract to speak this way is embarrassing for the league.
What would be nice is if a player said "I noticed that there were a handful of close games on the first night of the tournament last week, which is always fun for the fans - maybe not as fun for the players, you know, we like to win by more than a few points, but a fun way to get the tournament started for the fans, and you know, I'm looking forward to going out there and putting on a show tonight".
Is that hard?
And I don't understand why he's got a bad attitude about it in the first place.
This guy is such an edge lord.

Does he not like playing basketball in the NBA?
