I'd say 'no' for the exact reasons you mention.

Maybe there'll be replacement modules in the future for some special models, but then the watch wouldn't be 100% authentic anymore anyway and their value remains in the looks and novelty, but not as a piece of horological history.

The vintage ones very much yes: they used the Jenny group's Caribbean cases and have some of the best looking ones of all brands who sold 'em (Jenny, O&W, Aquadive, Droz, Philip Watch and a few more).

They also had a very nice chronograph in the 90s-00s (Teknodiver).

Current: no idea.
