sorry to hear that; if you are using us any point in the future and want to flag this, we have a "submit feedback" button on pages, this is a really useful thing to do for us, as it helps us to identify results which are not so good :D

Just a flag, we don't use several engines, all Mojeek is Mojeek, you might be conflating this with Search Choices. AstianGO seems to be inaccessible now, but it wasn't an own-index search engine,
good write up, we're Mojeek Limited, not Mojeek LLC; LLC as a formation in the UK is called a "Private Limited Company" (PLC) which is contracted to .ltd or limited.
We're always on the lookout for feedback so if you use us again or are willing to send in the searches then it really helps us improve, the Eval Page is also worth mentioning for sending us these in a more interactive way. There's a new testing algo up there currently.
Thanks for mentioning us nonetheless! You can help out with that journey, if you want, by chucking some searches (either new ones or old ones you remember being not so great) into the Evaluation Page and voting.
Lately Iโve been trying to use mojeek, which (to my understanding) unlike other sites like DDG actually has its own crawler whereas most alternatives are just frontends for google/bing.
This is correct, there aren't many, and we recently passed 7.7bn pages. You can actually help with any wonkyness through feedback, but also we have this page which we trial new algos on; there's a large update sat on it currently.
We'll try and get that okay up to a good and then a great as time goes by! There's a submit feedback button on results pages if you'd like to be a part of that.
