Black Friday deals are not deals anymore. I often find better prices at random times of the year. I'm also in Canada, and nomatter where I look hard drives are always on "sale" a 20tb is listed at around 800 bucks regular hahaha. 22.50 per TB is a regular sale basically. Pre pandemic western digital had a sale where some were 18.50 per TB but I haven't seen those prices ever since. This summer 18 TB wd went down to 22.70 per TB for their sale.
Sales seem to be dictated by the manufacturer so doesn't really matter where you shop. They have the same price.
