I'd love if they self hosted or found something other than YouTube. It's probably a money issue though.

Why do people keep saying that ALL of their content is being paywalled?
it was cleared up over a week ago
They said they are going to keep their current library on YouTube for free, and then add any new content once it's a month old.
So we're going to give food to planes instead of hungry people. does this guy know it's an election year?

Privacy is a big one and there's some good points in this thread, but I'd like to ad that G is an advertising company before anything else. All they've every really wanted to do is sell you as a product.
A small cheap tool set is going to save you money over a decent multi-tool and be much easier to use. One for the home, one for your transportation, and finally a multi-tool for when you're caught with your pants down. Just make sure you know why you're buying the tools you're buying.
I saw the part about it being hard to get the subsidy. Sounds like it's happening anyway.
