Currently in Las Vegas for the F1 GP and figured I’d stop by the Swatch stores while I’m here. Initially went to the Fasion Show Mall store but soon found out that they only have the Moonswatches in stock right now. Ended up trekking all the way to the New York New York store, who ended up having this and the Indian Ocean color way in stock. Initial impressions are pretty much on par with my expectations after seeing how the Moonswatch collection turned out. Was not expecting the watch to only have a pull-out crown vs. a screw down crown, though. Wonder how this will affect the water resistance rating down the line, although I probably wont be wearing this to any beach or scuba trips anyways.

So I don’t actually only own 4 watches, as I have a couple of other pieces that I’ve either inherited or have been gifted to me throughout the years. However, these 4 are the ones that I have spent my own money on and what I would generally consider as watches that I have collected. The Casio was my first ever watch purchase, which I bought during a trip to Japan when I was maybe 13 or 14 years old. Never spent money again on a watch until I bought the Kanno at 22 as a little college graduation gift for myself and for accepting my first job offer as an RN. Randomly then bought the Timex a couple of months after that as more of a means to satisfy my “I really want another watch” itch, LOL. Fast forward to now at 26 having bought the Longines to commemorate being accepted to my doctorate program for nursing. My next watch purchase would ideally be for when I finish grad school in the next 2 or 3 years, and I’m open to any suggestions anyone might have on what watch I should get for myself by then. Thanks for your time!
