Unfortunately I was in the room. I took him to the ER to get checked for pneumonia due to a persistent cough and fever. After the CT a very kind hospitalist broke the news. There were other extended family members that needed to be informed. When I told them, I followed pretty close to what the Dr did and said. I'm not sure if that's helpful for your situation. To use your conversation as a model.

For me it worked best to be as direct and clear as straight forward as possible bc you want them to hear and understand what you're saying. The emotions will come in later. So if you can do it, I'd say "I have something serious to tell you, I was diagnosed with cancer" then fill in the details. People will get upset and need some time to have emotions.

Seriously don't give up. My Dad has stage 4 lung cancer, diagnosed in April, and his treatments have given him his life back. For now. I'm not trying to minimize your situation, every cancer is different, just don't give up until you know more. I really feel for you, keep your head up.

For that money id get out of FDM go for something from Formlabs to do SLA. There are flexible resins. The parts will be superior in every way. Alternatively talk your company into upgrading and offer to take the printer off their hands.

The prusa XL with just two extruders could meet your requirements. Prusa is famously open. I just got a MK4S which is fantastic. Here's my referral code if you decide to order from them @dubprints_91314 (we'll both get points redeemable for filament). I think there were issues with the XL at launch but they've been addressed. Another benefit from Prusa is the level of support. They continually improve existing printers with firmware updates and upgrade paths.

It's BS that you can borrow against it. If he did sell it the valuation would drop.

If this is all Nvidia stock let him try to cash out and see what happens.

I'm using this as well and came in to recommend it. One machine is thunderbolt to DP. One is DP to DP. Both Windows machines and both work well. I used this cable https://a.co/d/diTREUK however I'd look for a higher DP/thunderbolt revision now.

I want to know what those pieces are. They look suspiciously like foot rests but it doesn't make sense based on a launch in February and the pieces falling into the farmer's field in April. I guess it's probably part of the second stage.

I would like to see the full video. That's a pretty tight cut to the "action".

I feel this. I own a OG body style model S. I still have unlimited supercharging. The battery is starting to show its age and i'm sort of starting to look around. The Rivian R3X is my current front runner.
