We (Marines floating in a Navy ship) got those shots after being shown a power point on ship. It showed pics on someone that scratched the scab and got his eye infected with small pox. Everyone was scared about having their scab fall off and treated it like an extreme biohazard.
Probably better to be over cautious though.

People look at me strange for eating veggies when there is terrible pizza to eat..... I eat the pizza too, but I eat veggies first.
Great 1st season arc. I would add, not killed. Arrested then pardoned, but not before befriending some right wing militia that swears they captured Bigfoot and are breeding and training him to make super soldiers.
So often these things are purely emotional, and forcing them into a logical framework will make them do the work for you.
This is a good point. While I was recruiting, they used to say that people make decisions based on emotion and then later go back and try to use logic to explain why they did it.
I have been also suggesting to these people I meet in the real world that it's probably the micro-plastics that are causing the rise in deaths/autism/whatever bullshit they say. I'm trying to get them to focus on more environmental stuff and blaming companies.

Most people that work for a company do what is directed of them by the execs of said company. These execs are under the command of the commander in chief. Entonces, the workers in those companies will probably follow orders of the government given to them through their execs.
The "your" thing could also imply that you promised yourselves to each other. "You are mine and I am yours" type of thing.
I'm not from NY but I'm definitely watching this as a bell weather for how fucked we are with the controlled opposition party. I read a couple more people from the DNC expressed wanting a change since Hogg got recalled. We need fighters and not people maintaining the status quo.
