Defunding the police (horrible fucking slogan btw) isn't about just cutting off police funds and saying fuck it. It's about redirecting the funds to preventative and less militaristic interventions, including better audit equipment and oversight boards, non-lethal and non-armed social services and mental health interventions, and a refocus on community policing instead of military-style Jack Bauer larping.

Hey, game admin here. Unfortunately you do not have enough credits for an upgrade, but if you'd like to cut your session early and disconnect let me know and I'll pull you out.

Even better, an automatic presumptuon of guilt with weapon discharges and camera "malfunctions" with the onus on the officer to raise an affirmative defense successfully. Is it going to be burdensome for the police? Yes. But that's the fucking point. Weapon discharges should be a true life or death last resort only

Let's hope it's cyanide foam

Yes, and in this case the jury decided that a reasonable person in like circumstances could have felt threatened to the point where they feared imminent bodily harm, thus justifying the self defense

Been keeping up with new episodes as they come out over the course of the last few decades. The show has changed since it's early days, and sure the quality has ebbed and flowed over the years, but it still hits imo.

Don't know why you are being downvoted. It's her son, not a daughter, who got someone pregnant at 16

I think it's not so much that people can't look up the roles, but that most people grinding away in a wage-slave role don't have context for what is actually done at the higher level. They are too insulated from the day to day of those roles which make it easier to write them off wholesale as useless. That being said, CEO compensation across the board is not in line with any actual productivity or effectiveness metrics, let's be real, and certainly should not be anywhere near as high in comparison to the average employee. But that's a separate and more nuanced conversation that can't be solved with a simple "fire all CEOs hurdur" comments that you'll see online.

BK around us has the 2 for $6 deal and I've found it very useful when we run late and can't cook. Not dollar menu prices by any means, but most affordable option we've found among the fast food joints around us

You can do it!

Fair point. I was a jackass and could have made my point more rationally. My offense was with the implied suggestion in the original comment that AoT and/or FMA are only highly rated like that because they're favored and terfed by "weebs." It ignores the fact that they are also objectively incredible shows on par with Breaking Bad and many other shows on the list you linked and have just as much of a dedicated following as your favored shows.

Re: the opinion point: linking an article that shows other people sharing your opinion does not in fact make it any less of an opinion. Yes there are technical aspects that can be objectively compared or analyze, but generally speaking, these things are matters of taste an opinion. There is no "objective" best and as such cultural lists and rankings will change.

Personal opinion re: "best episode from any show". Very bold assumptions re: my familiarity with Breaking Bad
