I mean: with food, rent and entertainment costing twice as much as it did a few years ago, people are gonna cut their superfluous expenses to make ends meet. Why pay for Netflix, Crunchyroll, Appletv, Hulu and HBO if you can pay for a VPN?

And of course I support this 100%. Entertainment is a basic human need and people should fulfill it in whatever way they can.

Why is everything a war? Oh right empire needs to normalize war.

Also, I wonder why people would be downloading their treats for free. In this economy?!?!?!? Such a mystery.

What a shit article "Hey we can do this to single photons and electrons! Whole humans are next!"

No they are not. This articles is just a vehicle to talk about the same-ass philosophical issues that have been talked about for as long as teleportation via technology has been thought about.

If youtube does that, I will stop using the site and wait for a workaround to be written. You could preload the videos and cut out the ads, for example.

It's so nice to live in the EU, where my right to block ads is protected by law.

Honestly, if you don't know the game stories, it will be a confusing mess. They take very little time on the movie to explain what is happening and why.

The Warcraft movie wasn't even bad, they just didn't go hard enough. It was impossible to cram that whole story into one movie. They shoulda done a Hobbit with it.

As a European, this looks insane to me.

Capitalism working as intended though, undercutting the competition and all that.

Time to break the displays I guess.

Sort by date is really newsworthy in 2024 I guess.

It is really funny (read: not funny but sad) that you think our current system is working. This post has such big "I have not thought about this at all and am out of ideas" energy that I can't engage with it seriously.

Do you own a summer cottage right now? What percentage of people do? Will not owning that cottage impact anyone's life in a meaningful way?

But yea, sure, let's have a few hundred people own more wealth and thus influence than the rest of the world as a whole! It's the best way to make sure the people a step or two below those few hundred get to have a summer cottage! This really makes society the best it can be!
