Great suggestions, I might have to do that Zenith

Looking for a neo-vintage dress watch(specifically 1990-2006) between 1.5 and 3.5 grand to buy for a friend who collects specifically dress watches for Christmas. He likes visible manual calibres, one of his favorite watches he owns is the chronoswiss orea. He prefers steel over gold, and only sapphire crystals. He also likes manual chronographs, so that’s another option. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help.

Looking for an alternative to the A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus. I want this between 2.5 to 5 grand. No Chinese watches, ok with microbrands, also okay with used watches. I want a display caseback and pretty nice movement. Okay with ETA, miyota, etc, but wants a movement that is pretty nicely finished. Size between 35 and 40mm. Thank you if you take the time to help me!

I’m not talking about that people don’t like it, because they do. But looking in sales, I would expect a brand like zenith to at least be in top 20, but they’re far off. Why is that? I see them as an Omega-like brand, not a small brand.
