@kbal@Ziip@cm0002 Canada detaching from the US economy is a similarly monumental undertaking as Europe getting off US tech, but I think you're right that our political class can't even get there in their minds. They see a huge task and don't even want to start.
@kbal@Ziip@cm0002 Very accurate, yes. And to be fair to Europe, switching over from MS to open-source *should* be done slowly and carefully. That's a lot of vital data, and fumbling it could seriously harm a lot of people. Thinks of the court system alone.
