Hasn't been able to get comfortable with his playmaking yet only averaging 5.5 assists a game, but that will come with time when they have more than a few days to go over plays and stuff together.

Doesn't help the learning process that the Clippers are just in a 3pt shooting slump at the same time, as the first 5 games of the season they were hitting 42% of their 3s as a team. Since then, they've been hitting only 27% of their 3s.

he didn't "fumble" it, he just didn't want it. same way he didn't want the one Houston offered him to try and get him to stay, and same way he didn't force Philly to pay up right away and instead gave them a discount. harden has a lot of income from other sources; the difference between the max possible he could get from an nba team and what he'd be happy giving them for a good fit isn't something he's that concerned about. if anything, it's about the years so he can end his career somewhere (probably why that was a talking point for him about philly). he's from LA, he can move his mom (who is sick) out here, etc.

he's trying to find the right basketball situation. it was reported he was willing to give morey a deal if he actually negotiated with him instead of ghosting him.

While the usual suspects are busy spamming about how bad Harden is because single game +/-, he's been the only starter to actually shoot the ball from deep efficiently despite taking less shots because he's been asked to 'sacrifice.'

Kawhi Leonard: 1-6 from 3 vs BKN, 2-6 from 3 vs NYK

Paul George: 2-10 from 3 vs BKN, 1-6 from 3 vs NYK

Russell Westbrook: 1-5 from 3 vs BKN, 1-3 from 3 vs NYK

Harden has been very efficient in both games despite not having any training camp or time to gel with the lineups he's been put in as they experiment. His lineup data will be bad because he doesn't have an established minutes structure yet and has been thrown out with fully experimental lineups each night.

Maxey works hard af. Didn't even take a day after he got back for the footage of him and Harden working together after practices were over to start popping up again.

Shows in all the improvements every season just like we saw with the bearded goat early on.
