I think 50k is definitely on the low end of what you might consider a "city". And you're right, it would depend on density. IMO a city with that population can't really sustain a bus system if it's spread out too much.

Notebookcheck is pretty dry but their reviews are more thorough and technical than most.

To be fair, it's just California trying to save us from the monsters that they created 😂 ...... 😫

I like shitting on Facebook but this is a stupid article.

Meta is literally resorting to giving them away for free: Attendees of this year's developer conference for the global gaming platform Roblox each got a free Meta Quest Pro. While it's unclear how many people attended the event, it's a clear indication that the device isn't exactly flying off the shelves.

So they gave some away at a dev conference. But we don't know how many, and we also don't know if the Roblox conference paid for those devices or if Meta really gave them away for free. Clickbait bullshit.

Not really, you're ideally paying for a server that you have complete control of. The differences are mostly just fundamental limitations.

Example: if you're hosting off site, you will always be connecting remotely, so your access depends on a network connection. If you're hosting at home then your stuff is still accessible when your internet goes down

Oh yeah I wouldn't get cheap brands for clients. But I do buy them for myself (and I make sure they're backed up).

Lots of reasonable 2230s available today from Micron, Teamgroup, Inland. The nicer ones from Samsung and other reputable brands will be double the price, yes. And even the cheap ones will be more expensive than a standard M.2 SSD. Miniaturization costs money, they're more expensive to make. We'll have to see how WD's prices are, but I assume they'll be higher like Samsung.

How long ago was that? There are suddenly a lot of 2230 drives available this year, I assume because of the Steam Deck. WD wants a piece of that pie. 🤤

Fair, I think what I'm trying to say is that I wouldn't expect Joe Rogan's show to be as immediately offensive to those outside of America, who are missing the context of all the internal conflicts we have here.

It only uses Sync if you set up a Mozilla account. If you prefer not to do that, you can still set a Primary Password and the passwords will remain local on your machine, encrypted: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-firefox-securely-saves-passwords

I don't think he's QAnon. I don't think he believes MOST of the nutjobs that he lets on his show, or even cares what they believe. But he lets a bunch of QAnon people on his show, so a bunch of QAnon people listen to him. And he keeps letting weirdos on his show because that's what his listeners want.

I would agree that the context is entirely different in Asia, his show is mostly harmful to Americans and wouldn't affect other countries much.
