Yes. Only browsers not based on chromium won't see any effects from this.

Scaling is one of the major things that suck. Probably on xorg too through. And especially with multiple screens in different ratios and uncommon ratios (like the frameworks 2:3 one)

You need a reverse proxy. That's what they do.

The next thing is fully subjective, but I would not recommend Nginx Proxy Manager. It has a neat GUI, but in my setups it has been failing often times, especially if used in public servers with letsencrypt certificates.

Maybe I fucked up something, but I can really recommend caddy instead. It's configured from a yaml file, but I find that to be much more flexible for custom rules and so on. Also, configuring caddy is stupidly simple, I love it.

The sheer volume of cves is not necessarily an indicator for insecurity. The CVE system is pretty bad and rulings are mostly arbitrary. For example, there was a recent curl "CVE", where an overflow happened in some part of the app which was not relevant to security. I don't remember the details, but the only solution to this apperent mess was that the main contributor of curl is becoming one of the guys that evaluate CVEs.

CVE is a measure for the US government, and always assumes the worst in any case.

That being said, I agree with you.

Could work, but it doesn't stop actual people from creating spam Accounts.

If one wants to put real effort into it, the camera/gyro sensors could be malicious or a robotic arm could be built. Maybe it would work with some fake background.

In the world of text editors, VIM, specifically NeoVim is the shining light. Standing at the pinnacle of creation at a height that can only be reached by zealous emacs users.

They have a learning curve through. Nano is obviously easier, but it's also just a basic editor.
