Idk what people have about chromium tabs. Firefox does tabs just fine.
Also, edge does not come with most os, just w*ndows

You can't just say that FF on Android is less secure and not give any sources for that claim.
I mean, you can, but that makes your claim not have any value.
Your logic is fallacious: the solution is not to build a nuclear reactor but seek an alternative.
They could just invest in a solar farm or something, they are just a lot more economical.
Nuclear is okay, but the costs compared to renewables are very high, and you have to put a lot of effort and security into building a reactor, compared to a solar panel that you can basically just put up and replace if it snaps.
You probably know this discussion already through.
Edit: Glad to see a nice instance of the discussion going here.
I'm an early user (I think?) And I can say that the project is very useful. Good work! I also contributed a couple issues, not much but it's honest work.
Cool to see you on Lemmy :)
The unspeakable thing will eventually happen. I can't imagine it, Linus is the giant among giants.
After Bram Moolenaar, the legendary creator of vim, it might just hit another legendary figure in the world of OSS. It's true that he is controversial, but he has my respect and best wishes.
Going wild with a concept I came up with some years ago, but it's too embarrassing, which is why I'm not going to show anyone.
I suppose magic packets are not the packets for wake over lan, right? Because wol packages are commonly called magic packages too.
I suppose creating content in the form of software does not count? Besides that, I'm writing a book, for myself only, and I won't show it to anyone ever.
I agree with most of your points, but I still think putting configs in the xdg dir instead of putting tons of dotfiles in $HOME is good practice.
I find dotfiles to be that stuff that I want to edit easily, and xdg stuff to be that stuff that I don't edit frequently (manually at least)
Netcup is cheaper (as far as I know) and really reliable too. Also based in Germany. I use one of their VPS to host my stuff.
