Completely agree, but I’ve been seeing so many similar sentiments on Lemmy since the election. Today I saw someone comment, almost word for word, that there was no problem with Kamala’s campaign - the issue was simply that Americans are too stupid. Someone else on a totally different post commented that this election proves the Dems could run Jesus Christ himself and half the country would still reject him. And those are just two examples. This is one of more unhinged meltdowns I’ve ever seen.

They’re already getting ready with the same excuses they used for Hillary. If Kamala loses, it definitely can’t be a result of the fact that Dems seem to actively despise the left.
I just told a group of friends tonight, “Mark my words, Kamala will be the next Ronald Reagan.” I think that only cleared about half the room hah
This interests me and I honestly don’t even know how to search for more info on this topic. Do you know where I can read more about the situation you’re describing?
This rhetoric is sure to convince all those Muslims in Michigan whose family members are being blown up by US bombs. Keep up the good work, neolib crusader!
Say what you will about the Republicans, at least they get results on their absurd culture war bullshit. Best the Dems can do for the left is ignore us completely and give us Tim Walz as a VP like we should be soooo fucking grateful
How many people have you shot?
Saying, “we need to” is about as noncommittal as not saying anything at all. That’s like my girlfriend pointing out that the kitchen is a mess and me saying “yeah we really need to do the dishes”.
Nor are they “boys”. They’re like mid-late thirties men.
I’d imagine it is the same guy. I’ve seen the truck downtown at least twice so I don’t think they’re a tourist.
To me this is the same philosophy adopted by Israel when they kill Hamas leaders. This isn’t chess, folks. Killing the king does not end the game.
Name one time since Hitler that the death of a world leader has resulted in the end of an armed international conflict.
