I have a couple of neighborhood dogs that I wish death upon. The reality is that I hate the people more for not doing something about it. Both the dog and owner are ruining a peaceful day, so you can't feel too bad.
No disagreement there at all. I should have started with the oats don't start out gluten free instead.
Personally, I do know a couple people who had reactions when they first came out. For me it was enough risk to say no to them, plus, I didn't eat Cheerios to begin with.
I just didn't trust their method of removing the gluten from the oats, it sounded like there was room for errors in the process.
I'm not sure if you are aware, but Cheerios aren't actually gluten free. They use some crazy process to blow the gluten off of the oats with air... When I first read about it I decided I wasn't going to try them. Since then, I believe the gluten free claim was removed in Canada.
If your family doesn't have symptoms or feel ok after eating them, maybe they are comfortable with the risk.

It was a blog written by a young guy who had an amazing ability to put his struggles into words. I was an angry/sad teenager at the time and reading his blog made me feel like I wasn't the only one. I hope he's out there and doing ok. He loved the band Sloan and his family.
I've tried a few times to find a trace of his blog, and no such luck.
I would agree with you that Germany was always just using the pact as a means of buying time. Either way, it's a fuck up of the highest order.
It's not the exact same situation, but Germany attacking the Soviet Union in 1941 when they already had the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact in place is a pretty colossal blunder. We don't know what might have happened if Hitler hadn't done that, but it was the biggest oof I've heard of.

The best part about all these articles is that the Americans talk about how much they love Canadians. When it comes down to it though, they just love the dollars. There is nothing else they refer to loving about them in the articles from what I've seen.

This game is great! The story is decent, but doesn't take itself ridiculously seriously. It is well written in my opinion and there are cartoon style cutscenes that are nice. The combat is fun and I enjoyed the variety of different combo moves using 2 characters.
One of the best games I have played in recent memory.
