They're against wind turbines as well. It's oil company propaganda.

Make sure that you check out the battery and make sure it's balanced. There's an app you can check it with and you plug in a Bluetooth dongle to the obdii port.

They've deluded themselves into thinking they can achieve full ai and take over the world. These tech billionaires got their money young and never grew up because of it

I think your answer is Chevy volt unfortunately. It ticks all the boxes.

I managed to brick my car. I bought an extra car for $1500. It came with one key and upon inspection noticed that it was full of green corrosion (it's a proximity key/fob). Anyway, I bought two keys and a topdon topscan pro which can do key programming. I started the procedure and when you do that it erases all keys stored in the computer and then you relearn all the new keys one at a time. There's a little nfc reader in the car where you insert each key during the learning process and then a little light on the dash is supposed to blink. Well it didn't blink during the process and none of the keys will start the car. I'm not sure if the little nfc slot is bad or there's a problem with the programmer I bought. So yeah, I have a dead car for right now until I can figure out the problem.

A loose cow on the University of Illinois campus isn't the only thing turning heads. So is a "couch car." Two engineering students created it for an end-of-t...

We used to book computer time at the local library and I would walk by myself at the age of 8 to go play Oregon trail on a green monochrome monitor.

I landed on fedora. Stable with more frequent updates. If I run a server I usually go with Ubuntu because it has a lot of packages installed already so I don't have dependency issues with whatever I'm installing and I'm too lazy to install a bunch of packages myself.

Three sets of pads there's four vehicles on the order. One just needs a pad slap. The other needed rotors and pads all around.

I bought a cheap Hantek 6022BE to learn with and I'm just trying to measure some voltage to check if it's accurate. I'm using openhantek6022 https://github.com/OpenHantek/OpenHantek6022 and also hscope on android. I'm measuring a 19v laptop power supply with the 10x setting on the probe and also a set of leads with a 20x attenuator. When I measure the power supply with my dmm I'm getting 19.22V with the scope I'm getting much higher or lower depending on where I set the voltage per division. Both programs have a calibration function which I did.

20x attenuator showing 19.6v

10x probe showing 20v

10x probe with 2v per division setting only showing 9.81V

Hscope showing 19.9v

I know how to tie shoes, but these can't be tied. Size 9.5, perfectly average.

On a job application site for my local government it reveals if a specific social security has been used or not on that site. The site is very outdated.

The Xbox 360 just had it's 20th anniversary. I'm not sure how I feel about it as a console today as most of the games are available on pc with only a few exclusives. I guess most of the nostalgia will be from playing online, which I never got the chance to do.

I'm always struggling to desolder high heat circuit boards like pc motherboards because they used high heat solder. Sometimes I can get it hot enough that I can mix in some lower temp solder but it's always a pain. I've also used my rework hot air at 500* plus the soldering iron at 500* and gotten it, but that's a pain as I only have two hands. Right now I'm replacing the Nec/Tonkin caps on a ps3. Fortunately removal is simple with a chisel, but getting the pads ready for soldering is a huge pita.

I can't remember exactly when I created the community but the oldest post is a year old and recently it passed 3k subscribers. Thanks for keeping it dull lads.

It's only $10 shipped for the whole kit from Creality, so I figured why not. I accidently pinched the wiring and had to repair it so that's why there's heat shrink on it.

I picked this printer up with a bunch of filament for $60. The build plate was really loose so I took it apart and found that the bearings are loose within the plastic part. Not really sure what to do here. I might epoxy the bearings in place. I saw that there is a y axis linear rail upgrade for $40 but that seems like a waste of money.
