Out of the loop here. How can google lockdown an open-source operating system? I know they are involved in developing it because it benefits them, but does that mean they own it?

Is the latest Jackett safe? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)
 

For a couple of days now windows defender keeps flagging JackettUpdater.dll as a Trojan. Similarly, a lot of detection tools on Virustotal flag it as malicious. I'm not experienced enough to look at the code myself, so asking people here. Jackett developers reassure that it's a false positive.

Favorite Firefox addon that isn't just ublock, darkreader, etc? I throw out Singlefile but you probably have that in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml
