If you plan to chose these models maybe it’s a good idea to find a vendor that sells these models. This would leave you more leverage for negotiation buying several pieces there

Absolutely great watch for the money! BUT: Style and taste is difficult… Offer him an afternoon at your favourite watch store and just gift him what he loves! Laco does great watches for this money. Seiko too.
