I don't understand why Proton even needs to do this shit. They created a perfect privacy focused niche in world of creepy surveillance and decided to fuck it up with dumb marketing and pricing. Google, Microsoft, Meta, Palantir and the likes will NEVER become less creepy and less spying. So, why fuck that perfect business scheme by doing dumb shit?!

Same how they advertise one price, but if you already have an account and you login, suddenly the discounts disappear. Sigh. Me upgrading from Mail Plus to Unlimited should be subject of same discounts, just like you're attracting new users, the same way you'd attract me upgrading. Instead I get the full price. Would've upgraded already if it was 7,99€ as advertised instead of 9,99€. It would be for 2 years only anyway and then after this period at full price of 9,99€. But nope. So I might just as well wait and think about it a bit...

Nothing was hacked, it's just connection that's somehow fucked exclusively with Proton. Nothing else. Even did entire system reboot to acquire new IP, no change at all. Still fucked.

5 hours later and ProtonMail is still not working. And ONLY ProtonMail. Lumo now works, protonvpn.com also works, even proton.me worksd, except the thing I need which is Report a problem link which just does NOTHING. Ugh. Problem on my end can't be so selective that only Proton stuff isn't working somehow and even that not all of it.

Knowing America, the jug should've been in a brown paper bag. For some reason.

My issue with Linux is that I lose 3/4 of controls I have with my Radeon graphic card because there is just no Adrenalin control panel at all. There is no control over FSR then, no ability to upgrade FSR3.1 to FSR4, no AFMF, no framerate limiting and optimization through Radeon Chill, no image sharpening, nothing. My Radeon is super advanced, but only under Windows. On Linux it's just a basic rendering and output device. Then it's multiplayer games that I play a lot, they either don't work at all or you need to manually install all the anti-cheat crap through stupendously complicated processes and hope you don't get banned for it. I also use ReShade a lot in games which doesn't exist on Linux.

If it wasn't for all this, I'd be on Fedora or Ubuntu like I am on all other devices and they are fantastic to use for multimedia, office tools and web browsing. I actually prefer KDE or even GNOME over Windows Explorer idiocy. They are both just so nice to use unlike Windows which is arbitrary bullshit smeared on top of some other bullshit.

I'm from Slovenia. Apps work fine on my phone but in browser Firefox on computers it just won't load at all. It's connected to same router as PCs. I run NextDNS with HaGeZi Ultimate on entire network and it works fine with nothing being blocked. What the hell is going on.

When has Microsoft started enforcing that mandatory online account bullshit in Windows installer? Was it like 3 years ago? I've had 4 computers with Windows in my home. Now it's just 1, the other 3 have been running Linux since then because I'm fucking sick and tired of always looking up those dumbass bypass methods. I'm only dealing with Windows on last one because of gaming. And honestly, can't wait the day I can migrate that one to Linux full time too. Unfortunately it's not there yet for me.

I mean, Americans can just look at Europe. It's basically entirely social democracy. I don't understand why entire America is pretending social democracy is some sort of socialist boogeyman...
