I'm only going to be a Texan for a few more weeks haha. Leaving for good in early August.

Not surprising. I've honestly absolutely loved my Ioniq 5 (SEL AWD for those curious). My city operates fairly cheap chargers on the ChargePoint network ($0.21/minute) that are basically my saviour since I don't have a charger installed in my condominium.

How on earth did you get a bike built to go that fast? The fastest I've seen here in the States so far is like half that.

That or an EV revival of an old JDM. Imagine bringing back the R34 as an electric vehicle...🤤

Hyundai also offers the Ioniq 6, but that has a footprint and form factor similar to the Porsche Panamera.

I'd kill for an electric hot hatch with ~500 km range, and that supports 800V DCFC.

I thought I read somewhere that the ID.3 arrives Stateside next year. Am I crazy?

Thanks for clearing this up. I'm not super in the loop on what FAA requirement corresponds to what, but I'm looking into beginning the journey toward a private pilot's license this year or next.

By recent, I mean like the past several decades.

As stated earlier, I appear to be mistaken then. My bad.

It's already being sold in Europe. Not sure about Japan.
