I think it means like someone complains about Linux, saying it's not user friendly, when that same person has just as many issues with a Windows/Mac machine.

I don't think that's a valid argument. Even in a one-on-one encrypted chat, the person you are chatting with could leak the chat. Having more users doesn't change that.

What is arguably even more egregious is having X/Y backwards. On a graph, X is the horizontal axis, Y is the vertical axis. Xbox got it right.
