Why do these come out before the year is even over? We still have an entire month left to go.

"Classic" is never an indicator of age, regardless of what type of media or whatever you're talking about. It basically just means that it is a great example of that category of thing and what makes that category unique.

Specifically, I'd recommend Fedora Jam. It has all sorts of audio stuff preconfigured/preinstalled for musicians

If you have the ability to connect to an external monitor, you can likely fix it by changing the resolution in the system settings instead, if a GUI is easier for you. But if you still end up using that command, "eDP" refers to the internal display specifically, so you don't have to worry about that command messing up the external monitor's resolution or anything. Good luck!

Once in a terminal, this command should change the resolution

xrandr --output eDP --mode 800x1280

That is exactly the point of the article

Today we will go ahead and take a look at a number of privacy-oriented web browsers outside those provided by Big Tech, which treat you like a human being and not a bullseye for targeted advertisement revenue.

If you do care about freedom and your privacy use LibreWolf or Ungoogled Chromium.

Neither of which are mentioned in the article, for some reason.
