I think that is the closest option Liberapay has. You can make a single payment, and instead of automatically charging you again when your next payment comes up, they will just email you a reminder. Hypothetically, you could just not pay again, and maybe even cancel instead.

If you want to use a donation system that does outright support one-time donations, Open Collective seems to be the popular choice.

And please allow one-time donations, not just recurring donations!

  1. Being a FOSS app, it makes sense to use a more FOSS-friendly git platform like Codeberg over GitHub
  2. There is a somewhat involved process to get an app on F-Droid. While the app in beta, at least, I don't mind the focus being on developing the app itself and only self-publishing releases on Codeberg. You can use Obtainium to keep track of updates for now, and I believe it will eventually make its way to F-Droid.

If you still have Infinity for Reddit installed, you can export a backup file of your settings and then import it into Infinity for Lemmy!

Not sure grandma would be visiting this site

And this is why stats showing how prevalent Linux users are on a site are pretty useless.

Glide typing is available on the F-Droid version, but currently English-only for now.

For the most part, this looks very appealin. But after using vertical mice exclusively for the past couple years, I imagine I would have to go back to twisting my wrist to use this.

Huh, outside of a few outliers, I guess major Windows releases generally come quicker than I thought
