California pays more in taxes than they use federal funding. Going after their pocketbook will only hurt the feds

They likely made a settlement offer the first time too. The easily could have made a worse settlement offer the second time because court was going so well, and the plantif knew they might not get what they were asking for.

We dont know

Insurance is on the side of the defendant. The plantif determines if they go back to court. Insuance has nothing to do with that

You can sue to include layers/court fees. And most of the time, these types of layers dont do it for base fees, they do it for a % of the settlement. If theyre going after malpractice, they have insurance to pay that out. I cant really imagine the cost of court would sway them against going back to trial.

We cannot be silent in the face of Trump’s dictatorial move. Silence is acquiescence. We must be brave in resisting him. But we must not succumb to violence.

What is needed is peaceful civil disobedience. Americans locking arms to protect those who need protection. Americans sitting in the way of armored cars. Americans singing and chanting in the face of the Americans whom Trump is drafting into his handmade civil war.

Because peaceful civil disobedience definitely wont be met by force with 0 repercussions

Far more effort to try than the value it would add to the data

if you leave them alone, they'll leave you alone

Not exactly. My old work building used to have to shut entrances because of the geese. Theyd apparently nest close to the door and attack anyone who came in or out.

One time i parked my car, then two geese started fighting in front of my car. I went to get out and they both turned toward me. I quickly shut the door and had to wait the fight out.

Theyre dicks.
