Have liked this watch since it was released. Only complaint is the long lug to lug. It would just about overhang on my 6.75"/17cm wrist. The Mark XV models in 38mm are the perfect size IMO.

[Question] Having trouble finding seller reviews. Watchexchange has watchexchangefeedback sub but don't find any mention of a seller with 66 transactions. Is this strange? Have bought watches from ebay, C24, YJA, etc....Fully aware of "buy the seller" but not really sure how to do that on Reddit.

No offense but if your looking for a watch on a budget of $250-300 skip the tacky crystal laden fashion watches. Go for something sinple with some class. The Seiko Essentials line has several. Seeing that you want silver to match your girlfriends jewelry. SWR085, SWR053, SWR083 if you can track one down (Sold out on Seikousa.com ). Citizen might also have options within your budget.

One, identical to this, NOS from 1997 is for sale on C24 for $3850. Another from earlier in the 90s in good condition is asking $3600. This watch appears to be in fair condition at best. Not sure of value. If I was to guess I'd say $1500-2000. Try posting this inquiry on the Tudor forum. I'm sure someone would know.

BN0241-59H Promaster Tough is also an option though somewhat less dress capable. Definitely sporty and construction capable.

Citizen BN0211-50E Promaster Tough. SS, sapphire, monocoque case, Super Titanium coating (5x scratch resistance over SS alone), eco drive, good lume. Looks great on leather and takes on a more dressy appearance. Discontinued but can still be found with some looking around.

Very nice. Good choice of strap. I had my eye on the SS small seconds version several years ago. They even had a platinum version ref. 4021.31.01 with a guilloche dial. The small seconds versions were manual wind.

Someone will gift you a 24 watch box and then you're screwed ;)

I like the Breguet numerals on the Baltic more than on the Kuoe. I think the font is more uniform.

Check out some of the strap makers on Etsy. Figure out what length you need for your wrist size and order a few. The prices are very reasonable. I'd recommend a taupe Epsom strap. Tunsleather or Edelleather are good to check out.

Same size wrist here. The ALS's I've always liked are the 1815s. The up/down would be my choice. Being manual it should be slightly thinner making it the wear better. Future service costs would also be lower with fewer complications.
