From my understanding recall stored the screenshots it took unencrypted. Atleast encrypt the bloody data before releasing it to anyone outside of ms

I am using the Stremio flatpak for linux. A friend of mine uses the windows version and he says he also experienced the same.

For me, the guest login option only appeared on first boot. When i came back to it the next day it was gone and i had to use a fake email to signup :/

Thats cool but how long did it take to download the game? It mustve taken hours right? What were your router settings, 1 hop for speed or 3 for anonymity?

Absolutely, yes, 100% thats not a 'gotchya' lmao Like i said a theres people that know exactly what theyre buying, and youre probably one of them. More power to yall. But the VAAAAST majority of apple users know jack about tech, thats just fact, we're in a bubble where the people we talk to know how to read a spec sheet, and how apple have a monopoly over all apps on their phones. The average person does not

"Apple users know what they are doing when they purchase the device"

Ahahahaha no they do not. Maybe like 10% sure, and thats your choice, but the vast majority of apple users are tech illiterate and buy it as either a statement or because they believe that "it just works" better than an android (which isnt true, androids work just the same ootb)

From every diffusion github ive seen, they all seem to have instructions for ubuntu, so that may be your easiest bet. Same with rocm, it seems easier to install on ubuntu than other distros. Especially fedora...

You need amds proprietary ROCM driver which supports stuff like ai. However i already had issues setting up anything ai on my desktop fedora system, steam deck uses an immutable fs and afaik it gets reset after every update. If doing it on a desktop pc is hard then doing it on the deck will be like walking on lego. Good luck soldier.

You sir, are a legend. Never heard of InnerTune before but im playing around with it right now. I could see myself using this more than my local library. Thank you for sharing

What the hell type of storage is a /dev/mtd lol

I recently passed my driving test and I need a music app that plays local files and can be controlled by google assistant for handsfree. I've been using AIMP for ages and its worked great but I can't specify any songs or playlists via the assistant, I can only tell it to "play music on AIMP" and it plays whatever I was playing before. I would much prefer a FOSS app to do this but if there isnt one available that works with the assistant then it doesent have to be FOSS. If I can't find an app that suits my needs spotify would probably be my only option but I've got a large library of music already downloaded and i'd much rather not pay for premium just for the ability to play my local files lol.

Is there any easy way to switch to your home instance directly from a post to allow you to comment? I currently use "instance assistant for lemmy" but that only allows me to view the community from my own instance.

Sometimes I like browsing other instances and only their communities and the only way I can figure out how is to visit that instances link directly, however when I want to comment my current workflow is to copy paste the post url into my instances search and view it that way. Is there any addon that does what instance assistant does but also works for posts?
