i would mark the turning point as when i saw the first candy crush icon on a fresh install from official image (i.e. not some laptop vendor who are already known to push mcafee and similar bloat) I'm so confused why regular users didn't push back on it. it's like buying a car and it has mcdonalds and office365 logos on it.
it's like fight club, but don't tell them i told you π³π¦
ok now listen π the path to maximum joy is twofold:

- make sure to be informed about others unhappiness and ridicule it this is another offset that must be maximized

i think that anti cheats display a disrespect to the customer, because in an ideal world he should then run two computers instead of one. one for online banking, the other one for every company's favorite rootkit with questionable maintenance.
the only way out, in my view, is going to server side ai cheat detection.
