The issue is that if Republicans win they will make sure they will win every election from now on. They already started doing it (vote suppression for the black and Latinos for example).
Either the US is selling them to the cartels or the corrupted Mexican gouvernement. I bet it is both.
At one time the HR gave me the numbers but at the end of the process they told me there was a mistake (or it wasn't the fixed salary but include benefits that you are not sure to get). Happened twice

I bought an old computer to install plex. At one time I wanted to try some tool that does speech to text and decided to install Nvidia drivers to speed the process. I messed up my system and tried for hours to fix it but I gave up. Now I don't have gui.
Not punishment but laking you work for nothing. That is slavery.
But also imagine that every thing else is also more expensive.
People will just use buy and dump strategy.
