Well, it's probably a function of the better nutrition, shoes, athletic facilities and workouts. It allows players to be great at resting.

A Bill Russell-ish type. Unbelievable motor, especially in high competitive situations. Epic games against top-tier opponents.
Guard Play. Nobody establishes rhythm and tempo. AD is his best self when the offense has a flow, which this Lakers team doesn't. If you are wondering which guard was best at doing this, look at the guard he had in NOLA and The Bubble year. DLO and the other guards do not have that in their bags. They are not generals.
