I have a bad feeling about ur PhD program if you are asking where to join and why to join on a random place in internet. Why don't you get a headstart in ur PhD by doing some basic research about the problem of where to join and why?

Stop wasting time, use colab and kaggle for testing or run whatever you can on 8gb card anyways. If you need to run for more than 24 hrs, use paperspace pro subscription

Feel free to reach out. I have some experience mentoring folks in NLP during my job as applied researcher. I have some vision experience but can definitely act as good sounding board and collaborator

It doesn't matter where you are. I colloborated with various folks in ML living in US, Europe, etc. as an undergraduate many years since there were hardly much ML folks in my country

If you are interested in an idea, you can always find folks who may work with you, guide you irrespective of your location
