The Dune books have a lot of material on that subject

If I hadn't personally seen this on the internet almost 20 years ago, I would assume it's AI generated because of how weird it is.

I am bad math but good grammar

I think whatever your stance on the ethics, trying to ban AI as a method of production is futile. Images created using AI are nearing the point of being indistinguishable from images created using other methods. Jokes from last year about how AI can't get the number of fingers on a hand right already seem outdated. It will soon become impossible to tell the difference between AI and non-AI imagery with any certainty, and we've already crossed that threshold for some images. That means a ban is ultimately not going to work. There's obviously lots of bad quality AI content out there, but there's also lots of bad quality content out there in general. I think focusing on the quality is more relevant than the method of production.

Not 100% sure this would work, but what I'd try is to create a new save within the game on the emulator (using the game's functionality, not a savestate) and shut down the emulator. Then find the resulting save file and replace it with the file from the physical cart, giving it the same file name as the file you're replacing. The emulator should automatically find that and load it when you start up the game.

Occam's razor, it's so simple, how could it not be true

I just took a look at that and even though I don't know Portuguese I can figure out enough to see that people are talking about 196 drama over there too, haha

Ahh, those were the days. I was lurking, but I was there.
Edit: wait, I mean I definitely didn't break the Rule.

I'm not a cartographer, but the way I'd tackle this is to drill a small hole in the globe and spray paint in through it, so that the inner surface is opaque white. Then I would put together a cheap turntable-style 3D scanner using an off-the-shelf camera (there are open source designs available for this that you can buy as a kit or print using a 3D printer, then assemble following step-by-step instructions). Then, after scanning the globe and obtaining a textured 3D model of it, it should be relatively easy to convert the globe's texture from a spherical shape to a standard map projection using software. I don't know what software that would be offhand, but I'm sure it exists.

According to the page, that's using an imaginary unit called "international dollars" (which I just learned exists), which is used for comparing countries' economies. It doesn't reflect the real amount in US dollars. In US dollars the median US salary is just under $60,000. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/wkyeng.pdf

Has anyone else noticed that they can no longer save posts from lemmit.online?
For me the interface indicates that the post was saved, but then it does not show up in my list of saved posts. This occurs both in Lemm.ee's web interface and in Eternity, for all lemmit.online communities.
