I haven't seen this before and it's a great looking piece. I really love the 556 and would love to make one my daily. Do you think this could be a daily? I see comments saying it looks too flashy and you've said it's not but an everyday wearer?

Going to Google this watch a whole bunch now but would love to see more pictures.

Any idea what you would swap it out for?

Yeah the one I was looking at didn't have box or papers so it was an easier decision to make. I don't know that much about the papers etc but you would think you could verify it off these right?

I saw a really nice looking vintage seamaster way under market price and thought it was a steal. Everything looked right and I was very close to pulling the trigger on it. I was doing alot of back and forth with the seller and in the end found out it was a frankenwatch. There's some very good replicas out there and if you're spending alot of money be careful your getting what you pay for or go via an AD etc if you're not 100% sure is my advise

I was running a bath and noticed that at certain angles the crystal becomes completely reflective like a mirror. I know that it's got to be to do with water refracting light or somethjng. It's a first for me, has anyone else noticed this or knows of any other weird behaviour of watches under certain conditions etc?

I understand what you mean and would be thinking likewise if I were in the same position, it's not as easy a decision as some might think even. Have a think about long term ownership though. I do think the reverso is a unisex price though. Can we see a picture?

I've been thinking the same thing as stated collecting about 2 years ago and have 4 watches. I think there's no right or wrong like everyone else mentions and it's down to your own feelings on it. I've bought 2 of mine and have been lucky enough to have 2 gifted. If it was my choice I would have kept my collection to 2 or 3 for the time being as I typically go through phases of wearing a certain watch for a couple weeks solid then switch to another. Having 4 I don't feel they get as much wrist time as I would like. I don't think I need to expand my collection any further for the foreseeable anyway

I never really see high frequency quartz watches advertised or if they are it's never really mentioned as a big deal about these pieces. I'm interested to see what's about, I'm aware of the bulova lunar pilot which is a great watch but not really me. Does anyone know of any high frequency quartz watches (can exclude the grand seiko spring drive from this)
