Yeah and just accept intolerance, inequality and suffering. We should just ignore anything that doesn't directly affect us, that's the way to live our lives!

This is the line that must infuriates me, Henderson's given people like you all the ammunition you need to disparage any celebrity speaking up for a cause. He hasn't just tarnished his own reputation, he's tarnished everyone's.

Whilst you're right that it's only been a few games, if Arteta had decided he needed better than Ramsdale, if he had brought a player to replace him and then given that player time to bed in before making him first choice, it would look precisely the same as what has happened.

Of course there's a chance I'm wrong but, barring injury to Raya and dead rubbers at the end of the season, it's quite possible that Ramsdale has played his last premier league game in an Arsenal shirt.

but for this season it definitely seems they both accept it's a dogfight.

That's just believing what you want to be true, it's not a dog fight, there's a clear pecking order. Ramsdale doesn't say in the article he's happy with how things are going, he's just being a professional and towing the party line. I'd be astonished if his agent isn't looking for a new club, the chances of him being at the club next season are incredibly low.
